Biography
Attorney Christopher M. Hansen is an associate with the firm and has been practicing law for over twenty years. He has been providing quality legal services and advice throughout New York since 2001 and Connecticut since 2011. Attorney Hansen can help you navigate the legal system and set you on the right path to resolving your legal issues. As a family lawyer, he is a firm believer in using a collaborative approach whenever possible and is often able to settle cases out of court. He understands the emotional and financial difficulty of divorce and works hard to settle cases calmly and quickly.
Attorney Hansen is an experienced trial lawyer of Family, Criminal and Civil Actions. He received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Vermont in 1996, a Master of Arts from West Virginia University in 1998 and a Juris Doctor from Quinnipiac University School of Law in 2001. Attorney Hansen is admitted to the in New York State Bar, Connecticut State Bar, New York Federal Courts, Eastern District and the United States District Court of the District of Connecticut.
Mr. Hansen is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association, the Suffolk County Criminal Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association the Connecticut Bar Association and the New Haven County Bar Association. His areas of concentration include family and criminal law. As a trial litigator, Mr. Hansen handles cases from inception through trial. While not practicing law, he enjoys skiing, tennis and spending time with his wife and son.
